10 Wedding Card Congratulations ideas

So, you’ve been at a wedding.Wedding- Card

Whether it was a friend, relative, co-worker or neighbor, it is always appropriate to send them warm wishes by congratulating them and wishing them good luck.

Now, you are trying to decide what to write on the wedding card you want to send them. You want your words to be customized and sentimental.

You can use as inspiration the following 10 wishes of congratulations:

  • “Your wedding day will come and go, but may your love forever grow.”
  • “Wishing you joy, love and happiness on your wedding day and as you begin your new life together.”
  • “Here’s a little something to start your life together.” (If you’re including a gift.)
  • “God bless you both on this day with a lifetime of shared love and joy.”
  • “Congrats! Love and hugs.”
  • “I’m so happy to call you both my friends. Congratulations!” (If you went to a friend’s wedding.)
  • „Wishing you both all the best on your special day and beyond.”
  • “May your love bloom brighter and your companionship grow sweeter with each passing year. Congratulations on your wedding! “
  • “Words are just not quite enough today
    When your love will light the way
    To a wedding filled with joy never ending
    The warmest wishes are what we are sending.”
  • “May you celebrate every day together the way you have celebrated today.”

How to create your own Wedding Vows

Your wedding vows represent a promise made to the love of your life. They represent the answer to the person with whom you will spend the rest of your days with. You have to make your wedding vows awesome and appealing. Here are a few tips how to beautify your wedding vows.

Just use your own words. Use your own language. Create your wedding vows using simple words that you normally use. They are addressed to the one whith whom you will spend the rest of your days with.

Declare your love. Start your wedding vows by a declaration of love, what the other means to you. Then, continue with your promises. Think about how you will spend your life with your partner, what will you do. That you will share the bad and good times together.

Do your homework. Do you remember your school days? It’s that time again. Find a nice quiet place in your home and start gathering your thoughts and answer some simple questions. Get a pen and and note your ideas on paper. What is the thing that you love the most at your loved one? What is your most favorite memory of you and your partner? Think about what did you dream your wedding day to be like, when you where little. In what way does your lover match up with your dream?

Search for ideas. Search for ideas of how to express your thoughts in words. You can even search for samples of wedding vows. You can include quotes of poetry or of famous writings about love.

Put it together. After drafting your ideas on paper, you may add or remove some things. Read the text out loud. You will edit it easier.

Wedding vows

As a reminder of the wedding day you may hire a professional calligrapher and immortalize these words on paper. Frame it and you will have an original and beautiful memory of these special moments.

Now, take your time and think about how your wedding vows should sound like.

All about calligraphy addressed envelopes

For me, Calligraphy means “beautiful writing”. It is an art in it’s own form.calligraphy addressed envelope 1

There are several occasions where you can use calligraphy handwriting:

  • weddings;
  • birthday parties;
  • love letters;
  • wedding vows;
  • original and unique gift ideas that involve text writing.

Calligraphy has become very popular in weddings, especially in envelope addressing.

Just think about it! When you send your Save the Dates or Invitations, the envelope will be the first glimpse of the wedding your guest will have. The manner in which the envelope is addressed will set the tone to your wedding theme. The handwriting style can be swirly or more modern, but original. Also, don’t forget about the RSVP’s envelopes! They are also worthy of your guest attention.

For addressing your envelopes, use a professional calligrapher. You can find a local one or someone where you can order online. Or better yet, you can find a creative designer who can offer you a full wedding stationery package. By ordering the whole package you can be sure that you will also receive high quality envelopes.

I hope my advices were useful to you, “soon to be” bride or groom.

All about planning a wedding

Planning a whole wedding on your own must be a hard thing to do. This is the reason I created this blog. I loved planning my own wedding, and yes, I organized everything, together with my husband, of course. From the restaurant, the music band, the church, the menu, even the invitations, place cards, which we made together, to the honeymoon. I want to share with you all this and more. I want to discuss with you here also what we see in the weddings we go to, the goods and the bads, the do’s and the don’ts.

So, we will meet here to discuss all about your wedding. What to do and how to do it. And what I don’t know I will learn with you.

See you soon,wedding-829143_1920
